Moskvich 401/424E (1949) Moskvitch 401 wis a caur frae Moskvitch introduced in 1945. It is based on the Opel Kadett K38 (1937–1940). Efter Warld War II the Soviet Union brought the entire Opel factory wi them loadit on 56 railwey wagons. Thay even brought the toilets for the workers wi them. Startin in 1948 it wis an aa exportit. Izh/Moskvitch-412 rear view IZh-412 practically similar to M-412, with slight changes in the frontal grille, most notably retaining twin round headlights. The car was still marketed as Moskvich 412 and had such name on a rear hood, while IZh-412 was a factory designation.
Classic cars of the 50s. By the beginning of the 50s Moskvich-400-420 was completely outdated and the first Moskvich 402 samples were ready in 1951. By the way, in the project, a new model was also indicated in the Gaz way, by an index of two groups of numbers: 402-425. That is, the model 402 and the body model 425.
It was necessary to design a fundamentally new model, in which the engine, gearbox, and rear axle gear remained intact from the old, albeit in a modernized form. On the way to mass production, the new model MZMA has quite significantly evolved outwardly. Although from the very beginning were created different options for exterior design. Some of them were repeated in separate elements of the solution, prepared for the GAZ-21 Volga.

The bearing body of the new car Moskvich-402 was a rigid spatial truss, welded as one piece from several large subassemblies. Most of the body parts are made in the form of forgings from mild steel sheet. The body has four doors hinged on the front hinges, an alligator-type hinged hinges and a trunk lid with external chrome hinges, which opens from the inside of the car. The car 'Moskvich-402' was produced until May 1958.
A total of 87658 cars were produced. According to others, the last car model 402 came off the assembly line in July 1958, and a total of 94,080 pieces had been produce, including 18,019 exported. Subscribe to the channel, comment on the video and click on the bell.
