I recently bought a Armor Network Drive HDD Enclosure () and put an 80G Seagate into it. The instructions say it must be fat32 and it works with Win 98, NT, 200 and XP.
Mar 2, 2018 - Seagate Blackarmor Nas Firmware Update Nas- Basic48 Loader 69 Firmware Update. Okay, this is how I fix it everytime my network drives do. Jun 25, 2007 - Update information for RDC2882 chipset: this chipset will be. I upgraded to the latest (fixed) firmware NAS-BASIC48, LOADER 69 and this.
I've put it on my network and it works great with the 3 XP machines - but with Vista Home Premium!!!!!! It will access the first directory level (Public) and any files there, but it won't (can't) open any folders below that. When I do try to access one of those folders it takes about 5 minutes before it says it can't access the folder, then the XP machines lose access. If I switch off the drive then restart the XP machines I regain access. I can access the drive on the Vista machine with a USB cable, but the network access then won't work. Any suggestions as to what I could try to access the drive from Vista? Normal networking between the Vista and the XP machines works fine.

However the manual includes an image for a different enclosure housing so I emailed the company and they confirmed that the update link is compatible. The download is available. Initially I found that when I tried to upload to the Landrive using a HTTP logon, it returned an error 'Action Failed! General Error'. Maybe this is due to my setup, running firefox with some script blockers and whatever.
The notorious b i g ready to die zip viperial. I had come across a program with the name 'nasdisk_utility (www.station-drivers.com).exe' downloadable from. I used the upgrade feature in this program and it completed OK.
